Penny Lane Sheet music is an arrangement written for String quartet. You can choose to buy score, parts or both score and parts together.

“Penny Lane” is a song by The Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney but credited to the Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership. The song was created in response to John Lennon’s “Strawberry Fields Forever”, and its lyrics refer to a real street in Liverpool, England. The song’s title is derived from the name of a street near Lennon’s childhood home for his first five years (9 Newcastle Road, just off Church Road), in the band’s hometown, Liverpool, England. McCartney and Lennon would meet at Penny Lane junction to catch a bus into the centre of the city.

Here you can listen to string quartet “String Along”, and one part of their performance of our arrangement:

This is a song I commissioned Bo to do. If I remember right, she did this in just a few hours…amazing… I asked her to keep the trumpet solo intact which she did. This tune plays itself. It’s so happy. Whenever we play it at a gig, people LOVE it.
