For the last few years it become very popular to have classical musicians on wedding ceremonies and parties..String quartet, Trio, Duo, Violin with Oboe, and lot of other combinations. And so, the Newlyweds also started to have very strange song requests. Sometimes it’s not even a loving and sweet music that we all love to hear and dance to it with our partner. I will share with you one small part of that weird song list.
1. Love her gently (Tenacious D)
I was asked to change the title, since the Violinist from the quartet was shocked with this choice. All of you who listen to Jack Black’s music will know the real title of this song and its lyrics, and if you don’t know, click on the Soundcloud link bellow. At the end, it really turned out as a totally cute string quartet arrangement.
2. Trap Queen (Fetty Wap)
In 2015, this song spent 25 consecutive weeks in the top-10.
3. Waste (Phish)
This is the song by the band Phish, which is known for musical improvisation, extended jams, blending of genres, and a dedicated fan base.
4. Fade to Black (Metallica)
This is just one of the 6 songs (all by Metallica) that were ordered for the same wedding as the song from the first place of this list.
5. Crazy Train (Ozzy Osbourne)
I liked this song so much that I also wrote it for my own String duo (for Violin and Cello).
