We will write about the most popular songs among brides and grooms – the songs that everybody wants to hear on their Big Wedding day, during ceremony, cocktail, party or evening dance. Happy Sheet Music had a lot of requests to write arrangements for String quartet, String Trio and String Duo, specially for The First dance. Here you can read about the top five:
1. “Thinking out loud” Ed Sheeran
Of course, this song is the most wanted since it was released. We have beautiful arrangements for String Duo and String quartet.
2. “All of me” John Legend
This is my favorite, I am loving this song since I first heard it. John Legend dedicated the song to his wife Chrissy Teigen. The song’s music video was shot in Italy just days before their wedding. The video ends with footage from their actual wedding in Lake Como, Italy.
3. “Love me like you do” Ellie Goulding
I am proud to say that this love-electropop-song sounds beautiful with Strings, our arrangement is written with the whole Love atmosphere. And, I could say now that the song “How long will I love you” (covered by Ellie) is catching up really fast.
4. “Best day of my life” American Authors
Surprisingly, it’s not a ballad, but it is still very wanted on Wedding parties! Great song, we also have a great arrangement that could even be played without a Viola part if you are playing with a String Trio.
5. “Marry You” Bruno Mars
This is a totally loving, and happy dancing music. It’s a fantastic song for the bride’s entrance, and our arrangement can really lift everyone up.
